Crissy Field & Golden Gate Park Assistant Coach Jessica Schifrin has been involved in sports for most of her life.

“I played competitive soccer from as early as I can remember through high school," Jessica says, "Now I engage in as many outdoor activities as I can get my hands on - snowboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking, biking, soccer, and hiking.”

A native of Sandpoint, Idaho, Jessica is passionate about teaching fitness and incorporating it into her own life.

According to her, "it is not only fitness that will alter your well-being - it's your lifestyle."

"You can workout as hard and as much as you want," Jessica adds, "But you have to keep the nutritional, mental, social and environmental components in mind and stable, as well, to create a healthy life."

Her favorite part of coaching?

"I love watching the ladies push themselves past my expectations."

She also enjoys being the first to wake up in the City with the rest of the campers, "knowing that we've finished a great workout before many have even woken up!"
